When our plans for a Lowest To Highest Bike ‘n Hike fell through, we decided to go backpacking instead. The weather looked good for a high country adventure through Northern Yosemite and Ansel Adams Wilderness, so we decided to do a loop hike starting at Mono Pass Trailhead and ending at the Tuoloumne Meadows Wilderness Permit Office.
What we didn’t expect were traversing in snow and night hiking. But that’s part of the adventure for us! And as an added bonus, both were good practice for the PCT 🙂
